Brain imaging with babies: An explainer video for mothers and caregivers

This public engagement project was developed as a UNITY resource to prepare mothers and caregivers for infant scanning. The video is based on experience scanning babies across the network and is tailored  to the UNITY protocol and the Hyperfine SWOOP scanner. You can use this as a tool to:

1. Explain what MRI is and manage mothers and caregivers expectations around their involvement in the process

2. Reassure mothers of their child’s safety and well-being with your team

3. Encourage a sense of pride for participation by thanking mothers and caregivers for their meaningful contribution to this paediatric neuroimaging work

Brain Imaging for Toddlers and Children

This public engagement project was developed as general resource to prepare children and toddlers for MRI. The video is based on experience scanning children of different ages using traditional high-field systems. You can use this as a tool to introduce families to paediatric neuroimaging protocols in research or clinical practice.
